Foton South Africa made a powerful statement at NAMPO Harvest Day 2026, unveiling two significant additions to its growing commercial vehicle portfolio – the all-new Auman 560 heavy-duty truck tractor and the Miler Lite, a compact light commercial vehicle designed to broaden access to reliable business transport.
The launches underscored Foton’s commitment to delivering innovative transport solutions tailored to South African businesses, farmers, logistics operators and entrepreneurs. Auman 560 Raises the Bar for Heavy-Duty Transport
Taking centre stage was the Foton Auman 560, a premium heavy-duty 6×4 truck tractor developed for long-haul freight operations and demanding logistics environments.
Powered by a 12.9-litre six-cylinder engine producing approximately 412kW of power and 2,600Nm of torque, the Auman 560 is paired with a 12-speed ZF TraXon automated transmission, providing smooth power delivery, improved fuel efficiency and enhanced driver comfort.
The truck also incorporates advanced safety and operational technologies, including:

Equally exciting was the debut of the Foton Miler Lite, a practical new light commercial vehicle aimed at small businesses, delivery companies and entrepreneurs.
One of its biggest selling points is that it can be driven with a Code 8 driver’s licence, making it accessible to a far wider customer base.
