Johannesburg, South Africa – September 2024 – The Behind The Scenes Awards (#BTSAs) is set to launch its inaugural ceremony, celebrating the exceptional talent working behind the scenes in South Africa’s entertainment industry. This groundbreaking event is dedicated to honoring those who contribute tirelessly to the success of showbiz, from celebrity teams and content creators to drama productions, music channels, radio stations, and LGBTQIA brands.

Founded by PR specialists Ngcebo Mdima and Karabo Motlogelwa, the BTSAs aim to highlight the often-overlooked contributors who make stars shine and ensure excellence in their respective fields. “It’s time to celebrate those who make the stars shine and challenge the status quo by recognizing the underdogs,” says Mdima.
