For a new brand in a very competitive automotive market, Jetour has achieved some astonishing feats since launching into the country in September 2024. With their initial two models, the Jetour Dashing and Jetour X70 Plus, the brand has climbed into the top 15 passenger vehicle brands. Following the launch of the eagerly awaited T1 and T2 models, this ranking is expected to climb swiftly in 2026.

2025 also saw Jetour South Africa achieve Gold Status in the 2025 NADA Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI), an industry benchmark that measures how effectively vehicle manufacturers support their dealer networks. Jetour also extended their dealer network to more than 50 dealerships nationwide along with 212 approved panel beaters covering all provinces across South Africa, including 1 in Windhoek. Jetour’s parts supply performance remains exceptional, with a first-fill rate of 98.8% and a first pick accuracy of 99.6% achieved this year. Jetour has also begun expanding into Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

High profile brand exposure opportunities this year included the signing of a three-year vehicle partnership with the DHL Stormers, as an opportunity to stand alongside one of the most consistent and competitive teams in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship.

Jetour was also the largest vehicle partner for the recent G20 Summit, with 70 top-spec, black Jetour T2 SUVs delivering a flawless performance as convoy cars used by the SAPS VIP Protection Services and transporting Foreign Ministers and dignitaries.

A highlight for the brand this year was the launch of the T-Series in late October, a range of SUVs designed for adventure, versatility, and everyday comfort, combining rugged off-road capability with stylish, tech-forward interiors.

The Jetour T2 was announced this month as a semi-finalist in the prestigious Car of the Year Awards, organised annually by the South African Guild of Mobility Journalists (SAGMJ) and judged by a panel of motoring journalists who rigorously evaluate and test the newest vehicle models.

November 2025 marked Jetour’s highest monthly sales to date, with 1 235 vehicles sold, driven by the growing popularity of the Dashing and X70 Plus models and the availability of the new T-Series.

While sales remain a key focus for any automotive brand, Jetour is setting itself apart through a strong commitment to customer service and experiences.

This includes hosting customer days across multiple provinces throughout the year, as well as the inaugural Jetour Festival in Johannesburg in May – the largest customer day in Africa to date, attracting around 3 000 attendees.

Through strong sales, stocked and available parts, increased industry recognition, high-profile brand-building events, and premium vehicles at more accessible prices, Jetour has become one of the most talked-about automotive brands in South Africa this year.

Looking ahead to 2026, Jetour aims to build on this momentum with even higher sales targets, exciting upgrades to existing models and a continued focus on innovation, customer experiences, and expanding its presence nationwide.
