South Africa — The Feather Awards return this year with a bold theme: ‘Borderless Existence’. Set to take place on Thursday, 7th November 2024, at the trendy 1 Fox in Johannesburg, the prestigious event promises a night of glitz, glamour, and the celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community along with other minority groups, including the differently-abled.

This year’s awards will not only spotlight those in the LGBTQIA+ community but also extend inclusivity to diverse individuals who embody creativity, courage, and resilience. Thami Kotlolo, co-founder of the Feather Awards, expressed the importance of inclusive representation, saying, “Our community thrives when all voices are heard and celebrated.”

Hosted by Dineo Langa, Khaya Dladla, and Andiswa Gebashe, the ceremony will see influential figures from various industries gather to recognize activists, media personalities, and supporters who uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.
